Trunk or Treat
Martin County Sheriff Department Department hosted Halloween Trunk or Treat, where families enjoyed a safe evening of trick or treating while interacting positively with local law enforcement.
Martin County Sheriff William D. Snyder said “We’re providing a safe alternative to kids in the dark, in dark costumes, knocking on stranger’s doors. This offers the ultimate in public safety, with no cars driving around, and no chance of knocking on a sex offender’s door.
Over 50 local businesses parked around the Martin County Sheriff Department to give out candy to over 5,000 children. Group One Safety & Security handed out coloring books, magnets & candy.
